The event was the feature of the 2nd Berkeley Resiliency Fair, sponsored by Berkeley Adult School and the Berkeley Times; attendees came to a Café fundraiser for King Middle School and included 6-8 organizations providing information (including Berkeley Adult School, Berkeley Tool Lending Library, Emergency Preparedness (CERT), California Earthquake Authority, Berkeley Gardening Collaborative, CA Forestry Dept., Recycled Art Activities for kids) and about 8 different speakers and wellness demos.
This event was made possible by a grant from StopWaste, and donations from Ashby Lumber, Pastime Hardware, Gioia's Pizzeria, Creekwood Restaurant, and Berkeley Bowl West.
