Fight Climate Change with a Clean Energy Home or Apartment!
Time & Location
Feb 07, 2019, 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Ed Roberts Campus, 3075 Adeline St, Berkeley, CA 94703, USA
About the event
Help the climate by getting off your gas! Homes and buildings are the second largest source of greenhouse gas emissions.
Because of cleaner electricity in California and improved electric heating technologies, we can vastly reduce our carbon footprint by getting off natural gas in our homes and electrifying everything. Thanks to local Community Choice Energy providers, electricity in the Bay Area is clean, and is getting cleaner and greener every year.
Not only does electrification reduce greenhouse gases, it also makes our homes healthier and safer. See and touch appliance demos, attend a workshop, meet contractors, and talk to folks in the community who have made the switch and moved off of natural gas.
The Expo is free and open to the public. Advance registration is required for the workshops, as seating is limited. Sign up soon; space is going fast!
