While some of our activities have gone dormant for now, we're moving full steam ahead on others! Work is well underway to becoming a BEE CITY with help from CalPIRG students and volunteers, our Parks Dept. and schools. We've installed pollinating plants in three sites for now with lots more to come! Our 2019 REPAIR CAFES kept hundreds of items in use! Now we're developing a REPAIR TRAINING with Cal students, Berkeley High School Academy with support of our repair experts, starting January 2021! If you like what we're doing and would like to support these efforts and more, please make a donation. All donations welcome and tax deductible! Thank you and stay healthy and safe! Happy New Year!

CONTACT INFO@TRANSITIONBERKELEY.ORG FOR INFO
Transition Berkeley has been encouraging growing and sharing food in our community year-round for the past 8 years! We've enabled thousands of free transactions and a way neighbors can have fun, while learning from each other. Sharing and growing food locally saves money and is better for our health and the health of our planet - and it is so enjoyable! Be part of this wonderful sharing economy!
WINTER SWAPS are held the first Saturday of the month at 10:30 am, in Ohlone Park, across from the North Berkeley BART station. Winter Swaps include sharing crops and items described for the Crop Swaps (below), as well as clothing and books.
SUMMER CROP SWAPS are hosted weekly June - September at two locations. Bring your crops, seeds, seedlings, honey, eggs, something homemade, recipes, gardening tip and ideas!

Making a Difference
We host educational events usually featuring a film and guest partner, followed by a roundtable discussion four times a year. These events are meant to inform and inspire action!
