Transition
Berkeley

While some of our activities had been dormant during the past year, we moved full steam ahead on others! Work is well underway to becoming a BEE CITY with help from CalPIRG students and volunteers, our Parks Dept. and schools. We've installed pollinating plants in four sites for now with lots more to come!  Our 2019 REPAIR CAFES kept hundreds of items in use! In early May we finished a REPAIR TRAINING with Cal students, and Berkeley High Students with support of our repair experts. Students attended online training sessions in apparel, bicycle, mechanical and electrical repair, and were introduced to community organizations, such as the Ecology Center and Berkeley Tool Lending Library. If you like what we're doing and would like to support these efforts and more, please make a donation. All donations welcome and tax deductible! Thank you and stay healthy and safe as we start in-person activities once again.
